In May, we had the pleasure of co-organizating an event promoting the Reggio Calabria region, hosted by the Reggio Calabria Chamber of Commerce and the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Poland. The meeting took place in Katowice and brought together numerous representatives of the tourism industry, institutions and media – not only from the Silesian region.

Participants included representatives of the Katowice Special Economic Zone, the Metropolis GZM, Katowice Airport, Ryanair and Aeroporti di Calabria. Together, they highlighted the potential for cooperation between the regions.

Our team was responsible for promotional and communication activities, including outreach to selected target groups such as tour operators, MICE agencies and destination wedding planners. The aim of the event was to showcase Calabria as a region with vast potential – both for tourism and business – and to strengthen interregional relations.

Attendees had the opportunity to explore Calabria’s diverse tourist offering, including romantic wedding options, possibilities for institutional collaboration and local products and cuisine. A key point of discussion was also the new direct flight connection between Katowice and Reggio Calabria.

The event concluded with a networking session in an atmosphere of openness and shared goals, which we hope will lead to lasting partnerships and further joint initiatives.
